STARTER OF THE WEEK: FAST BLOOMERS HELPS COMPANIES GO INTERNATIONAL

BART DE BRUYN 29 JANUARY 2018

AALST - For innovative ideas, the Belgian market often seems too small, which is why scaling efficiently and being strong internationally becomes essential. Fast Bloomers from AALST helps clients on the road to international success.

CEO Charlotte Noël ventured off on an adventure to Central America when she was just 20 years old and this journey became the catalyst that influenced her academic trajectory. She studied International Business Management in Toulouse, Barcelona and Berlin.

“During my time in the software business world, where I advised and gave training to companies such as BASF and Coca Cola, I experienced first-hand how crucial timely international expansion is. You must be a fast bloomer and not a late bloomer. Scaling fast to boost your business is a must,” says Charlotte.

Goal oriented

Tech companies are the most important focus group for Fast Bloomers. “These companies have a strong idea, but they need to be daring in order to grow fast and survive. At Fast Bloomers, we give them a push forward. We analyse the market, seek potential hurdles and opportunities, and make a plan.”

A strong plan and solid research are the first steps towards internationalisation. “Through our intake meetings we check what international goals the company has and how they want to reach those goals. Workshops, with a bottom-up approach, ensure that the entire team is motivated to take that step forward.” After that, Fast Bloomers researches the market that the customer is interested in.

“Even within Fast Bloomers, we have the goal to grow internationally. But first, we want to challenge companies to step out of their comfort zone and follow the international path.”
